Lindemann Metal Recycling has introduced the TXS 69x90 mid-sized shredder, which is aimed at operations looking for an efficient machine with a strong performance-to-cost ratio. Thanks to its modular "plug and play" design, the TXS 69x90 can be installed and operational in less than a month.

"The TXS 69x90 addresses the growing global demand in the recycling industry," says Alexander Zinn, global sales director at Lindemann. "As metal recycling continues to expand, driven by economic factors, regulatory pressures, and the increasing focus on sustainability, there is a clear need for adaptable and efficient solutions. The TXS 69x90, with its modular ‘plug and play' design, meets these requirements by offering a high-quality, safe, and efficient shredder that can be quickly installed and operational. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for customers facing rapidly evolving market conditions."

Meeting global demand with adaptable and efficient solutions

The company says that the TXS 69x90 has been designed for cost-conscious customers in the rapidly developing markets of Asia, the Middle East, and South America. By offering the TXS 69x90 in a standardized, modular format — including downstream and dedusting systems — Lindemann has aimed for an efficient and cost-effective design. The shredder delivers a power rating of between 1,000 and 2,500 horsepower and can process up to 60 tons of mixed scrap or car bodies per hour. Lindemann offers several upgrade options, including a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Lindemann's Shredder Drive Assistant (SDA), and the Intelligent Data Extraction System InDEx to enhance system performance.

A modular system for faster set-up

The TXS 69x90's modular structure includes pre-assembled hydraulic and electrical controls delivered in containers, ready for easy "plug and play" installation. This eliminates the need for additional buildings and enables the shredder to be installed and commissioned in under a month, far faster than most other shredders, says the company.

Value pricing with the same drive systems as Lindemann's premium models

Despite being competitively priced, the TXS 69x90 maintains Lindemann's standards of performance. The shredder incorporates energy-efficient components and uses the same high-quality drive systems as the company's premium models. The design has been engineered to be robust, service-friendly, and low-maintenance, providing an excellent performance-to-cost ratio. Key features include a 40-degree inclined feed chute, proven twin-drive roller technology with two hydraulic motors, a three-part anvil, a two-piece impact wall, and a single-piece rear wall with water injection openings. The adjustable ejection flap controls production volume and quality.

The TXS 69x90 is aiming to be the top choice in the value segment. Supported by Lindemann's extensive global service network and modular design, it is designed to offer customers in emerging markets reliable performance and a cost-effective installation process.
