Rotar announces expansion of production capacity

Rotar is growing. The Netherlands-based manufacturer of hydraulic attachments for the demolition and recycling industry has announced that it has grown out of it’s factory, and is taking a giant leap forward to expand production capacity of the company's line of mobile scrap shears, pulverizers, demolition shears, grabs and other hydraulic attachments.

Rotar manufactures mobile scrap shears, pulverizers, demolition shears, grabs and other hydraulic attachments takes place. In this process, Rotar says they shape tonnes of steel into powerful products on a daily basis.

‘We want to meet the increasing demand in our products and for that reason we need to grow together with the success our customers have,’ says technical director Roel Barelds. ‘For that reason, we  have expanded our production plant with a additional 1,300 square metre factory hall. 

As a result of expanding their factory and moving rough machining procedures to the new hall, Rotar has created more floor space in their existing production halls. According to Rotar, this space comes to good use, as the company plans on manufacturing more and more product ranges in larger series. The company has also invested in new machining tools, heavy forklifts and a new spray booth to spray the characteristic striking red colour of their products.

Rotar says the new factory hall, which began operation in April, is another milestone for the company, following the opening of their North American division in November 2015.
