Upgraded SENNEBOGEN Vario Tool built for urban demolition with new boom and bucket configurations
The 51-ton 830 E Demolition Vario Tool qualifies for versatile demolition work in tight urban centres

Flexible solutions are necessary to realize urban demolition projects with effective and economical outcomes. The subsequent demolition recycling and preparation activities for new construction projects are now an integral part of the ecosystem on modern demolition sites. Now, the multifunctional 51-ton SENNEBOGEN 830 Demolition Vario Tool is available with two new equipment variants that also qualify it for ethical demolition work. Particularly robust digging boom with a 12-metre reach and accompanying digging bucket with a capacity of 1.7 m3 make the machine even more flexible.
Proven flexibility and safety on confined construction sites
In recent years, the SENNEBOGEN 830 Demolition Vario Tool has been used as an all-rounder in demolition, demonstrating its flexibility and performance, particularly in confined, inner-city construction sites. Its compact dimensions, the environmentally friendly Stage V engine technology installed in it, and the high load capacity with a full 360-degree swivelling range make it the perfect helper in difficult conditions and confined working areas.
Also, the impressive maximum track width of 4.5 metres ensures a secure footing and vibration-free working, even on particularly heavy jobs. Transport to the next construction site can be realized easily and cost-effectively thanks to the counterweight that can be lowered at the touch of a button. For the driver, the Maxcab large-capacity cab with roof and front protection guard fitted as standard and optional bullet-proof glass equipment not only offers a high standard of safety but also increased comfort. The cab can be raised by 2.80 metres and tilted by 30 degrees as standard thanks to the extra torsion-resistant cab elevation. Ergonomic working and a constantly optimized view of the work area are guaranteed.
New: Digging boom and digging bucket for heavy-duty work
After a building has been demolished, the debris must be disposed of and the site often has to be levelled or a new excavation pit has to be created afterward. The new digging boom of the SENNEBOGEN 830 E Demolition Vario Tool, the EA12 with a reach of 12 metres, has a three-part boom, which enables impressive lifting capacities of up to 6 tonnes and can therefore also operate heavy demolition tools of larger machine classes.
The machine has maximum manoeuvrability within the working area and covers almost all angles. By moving a bolt on the boom, the operator can choose between two kinematic positions: firstly, the extended KA compact boom, which is preferably used for heavy demolition work at height. Secondly, the operator can select the angled KA position, which allows the maximum digging depth of five metres to be reached and is therefore particularly suitable for earthworks and foundation work.
When demolishing basements and foundations, the machine can be positioned close to the pit. This not only saves space but also gives the operator a better view of the working area, even if it is at a lower level. The flexibility of the boom also makes transport easier, as the boom can be transported compactly together with the basic machine on a low loader.
Change equipment faster with the fully hydraulic quick coupler
Another major plus point is that the optional fully hydraulic quick-change system allows the entire equipment to be changed at the touch of a button in just a few minutes. This applies to both the booms and the attachment. The basic machine can therefore switch between the three boom variants — the two-part AB17 with a reach of 17 metres, the three-part AB23 long front equipment with a reach of 23 metres, and the EA12 earthmoving equipment — as well as various attachments — from demolition grabs to pulverizers — in no time at all and can be adapted directly to the specific requirements of the construction site.
