The patent-pending Valor Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) shapes aggregate, generates fines, and eliminates unsound material. The VSI crushes aggregate into cubical shapes, providing the advantages of higher compressive strength for concrete, less binder for asphalt production, less water for concrete production, and better workability overall. VSI design features include the right angle pinion gearbox and hydraulic lid lifter that give operators easy and safe ways to access the machine components, the crusher drive, and the crusher chamber. The VSI comes in three different crushing chamber options—rock on rock, rock on anvil, and shoe on anvil.
