Kensal Carbide specializes in recycling used drill bits, primarily from the mining and energy sectors. Located in Benton, Illinois, our capacity is unmatched in the industry. Kensal Carbide is international in scope with customers in Canada, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa. We buy bits in quantities large and small - from one ton to 100 tons or more.

Kensal's President, Andrew Salmo, served on Active Duty in the US Army until joining the company in 2012. Andrew is a graduate of West Point and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He and his family live in Southern Illinois.
