Versatile trommel handles everything from compost to C&D

Designed for composting and wood waste applications, as well as for MSW and C&D processing operations, the SM 720 trommel uses a DaimlerChrysler OM 904 LA 100 hp diesel engine which swings out at 90 degrees for ease of access. Units feature a replaceable drum for quick change of product size, optional skeletal drum for use with screen cloth, hydraulically foldable discharge conveyors, and a self-propelled drive. Efficient screening is achieved due to continuous load sensing material feed from the hopper belt to the screening drum. Plus the screening drum is continuously cleaned by hydraulically tensioned brushes with scrapers.
