Recycled wallcovering wins grand prize
Second-Look recycled wallcovering is designed with the same aesthetic quality, durability, warranties and price as standard wallcovering, but uses at least 20 percent recycled content, including a minimum of 10 percent post-consumer. Cirqa, Plexus and Versa wallcovering brands each offer a recycled collection available through U.S. and international distributors.
Designers and facility managers who specify Second-Look recycled wallcov-ering also have the option to reclaim vinyl wallcovering from their renovation project. The Second-Look program accepts vinyl wallcovering made by any manufacturer, but screens all samples to ensure they meet environmental quality standards. “Second-Look Recycled Wallcovering has the long-term, high-performance of vinyl and can be reclaimed and recycled repeatedly to keep it out of the landfill for decades,” explains Beth Rich, Second-Look Creative Director.
