Tier III MHL 350D
The TEREX Fuchs MHL 350D Material Handler benefits from greater lifting capacities than previous models thanks to a new, wider undercarriage design with larger outrigger cylinders and wider stabilizer support beams. In addition, a new boom design with optimized kinematics enables higher lifting capacities across the full operating range, and the force of the MHL 350D’s swinging torque is increased by nearly 20 percent, which allows the operator to bring the machine up to full turning speed quicker.
The MHL 350D offers a 198-hp Deutz turbo-charged diesel engine with excellent fuel efficiency with several sound-dampening features and exceptionally low emission values that meet TIER III and COM III (European) environmental standards. The MHL 350D also includes an innovative dual circuit hydraulic system, which provides smooth, high precision handling and faster working cycles, thanks to a greater hydraulic pump capacity (169.2 gallon per minute vs. 153.2 gallon per minute). The system is unique and employs a dual hydraulic pump design – one pump dedicated to the stick and the other serving all other functions of the unit. This allows for separate, synchronized operation while proportionally feeding the precise amounts of oil to the components in use, rather than emitting a single oil fl ow to all parts in the entire system – intended to ultimately reduce operating costs.
With a focus on enhancing maintenance and operation awareness, the MHL 350D’s cab has received an upgrade, including a new multi-colour display for the operator with all essential operating data, such as fuel level, coolant temperature and hydraulic oil temperature – useful when performing service and maintenance. In addition, new buttons assist the operator in quickly locating the controls.
Other standard features include: double-row ball bearings in the slewing ring which provide less wear and tear on the bearings than a single-row ring; excellent visibility from the cab with large windows and hydraulic elevation; ergonomically designed operator station; an air-cushioned seat designed to provide orthopedic support; air conditioning; and an adjustable steering column.
