Slow-speed shredder
Doppstadt’s DW range of slow-speed, single shaft shredders are ideal for volume reduction of materials such as MSW, commercial and industrial waste, railroad sleepers, trunk and root timber and mixed C&D waste. The model DW3060K slow-speed shredder is available mounted on tracks, which is particularly suitable for work on soft ground such as landfills.
All DW series machines use a single-shaft principle with a shredding comb which is automatically retracted when it comes into contact with tramp material, avoiding damage to the machine. Other key features include: replaceable, material-specific shaft and comb teeth; easy maintenance due to large access doors on all sides and central lubrication points; and short set up times due to high degree of mobility and simple operation.
