Steinert’s ISS 240 400 SU Selective Sensor Induction Sorting System is a 96-inch wide unit designed to meet the need for automatic removal of valuable stainless and other non-ferrous metals from Auto Shredder Residue (ASR).
Waste from Eddy Current Separators feeds the ISS which removes over 99 percent of the metallics contained in the fluff. Plus, sophisticated induction sensors and high speed air ejectors find metals missed by pickers and other separators, and so further maximize metallic recovery.
