Powershredder 2400 high-volume shredders provide consistent, uniform sizing and will handle almost any material, including MSW, mixed C&D, wood and pallets, railway sleepers and ties, logging and sawmill waste, green waste, industrial waste, plastics and trade waste. Units feature easy exchange of various shaft configurations for different materials, automatic and fixed reverse shafts, shaft speeds of 12-25 rpm, and low noise and dust levels.

Other key features include: high mobility; small footprint; low-loading tipping hopper; a seven-foot by four-foot square target area; full remote control; a 13-foot, one-inch discharge height; a total weight of 36.3 tons; and diesel hydraulics with CAT C-15 power (540hp at 2,200 rpm). Options include hopper extensions and a breaker bar installed below the shafts.
