Lindner Washtech appoints Georg Krenn as sole managing director
Strategic transition supports continued innovation and value-chain optimization in global plastics recycling
Lindner Washtech has restructured its leadership to better support the company's long-term goals for growth and innovation in plastics recycling. Effective January 2025, Georg Krenn has assumed sole management responsibilities, succeeding Harald Hoffmann, who now serves in the strategic role of senior advisor global sales.
Leveraging value through optimization
Founded in 2013 by Hoffmann and Lindner Group owner, Manuel Lindner, Lindner Washtech provides fully integrated systems for shredding, sorting, washing, and drying of various plastic types. With more than 200 systems installed worldwide, Lindner Washtech is focused on optimizing processes across the recycling value chain.
In 2023, the company formed a strategic partnership with the EREMA Group, known for extrusion technologies for polyolefins. This collaboration has yielded improvements in process efficiency and system performance, reinforcing the company's commitment to advancing both equal- and upcycling capabilities.
A new perspective for innovation
Krenn, who has been with the company since its inception and has served as managing director at Lindner Washtech Engineering for a decade, brings technical knowledge and experience in research and development. His transition into sole leadership supports a sustained focus on innovation and market responsiveness.
