DESPRAY celebrates a decade in aerosol recycling

For the past decade DESPRAY Environmental has operated with a clear mission to make aerosol recycling safer, more efficient, and fully sustainable. Since the founding in 2015, DESPRAY has addressed the industry's biggest challenge — safety — by engineering a patented system with 29 safety features with the hopes of making aerosol recycling practical on a global scale. 

With over 27 years of expertise, co-founder and managing director Mike MacKay has been a driving force in aerosol recycling, alongside Eelco Osse, CEO of DESPRAY and Osse Equipment Manufacturing Group. With his business and engineering leadership, DESPRAY has grown over the past decade to make aerosol recycling safer and more efficient. 

Over the years, DESPRAY systems has recycled more than half a billion aerosol cans, preventing millions of tons of hazardous waste from entering landfills. With a full range of scalable solutions, from the compact DS500 Micro to the high-capacity DS5000F, DESPRAY continues to provide waste management companies and environmental companies with enhanced aerosol recycling technology.
