CP Group appoints new senior vice president of strategy and growth
Richard Coupland will drive sales, innovate product development, and lead strategic business planning
CP Group has appointed Richard Coupland as its new senior vice president of strategy and growth. Bringing over 34 years of experience, Coupland joins CP Group following a decade-long role as vice president of municipal sales at Republic Services. There, he successfully managed a nationwide portfolio of partnerships with over 2,400 municipalities. Coupland's career also includes 20 years at General Dynamics and Motorola, where he led technologies for global military and public safety applications.
Driving growth in the recycling industry
In his new role, Coupland will lead efforts in sales, product development, and strategic business planning. He will engage in focused activities related to sector and product development to support growth.
"It is such an exciting time in the recycling industry, as increased interest in diversion and sustainability meets with Extended Producer Responsibility legislation, and the use of AI technology to improve sortation and quality.
