Sesotec finds success at IFAT 2024
Film and glass sorting technologies the highlight of Sesotec at IFAT 2024
At IFAT 2024, Sesotec saw pre-COVID-19 levels of attendance and interest. The company says the trade show was an ideal stage to present sorting systems.
Sesotec highlighted the VARISORT+ FILM film sorter and the SPEKTRUM+ glass sorting system from KRS Recycling Systems at the trade fair. VARISORT+ FILM utilizes a laminar airflow and an aerodynamically designed separator housing, while the KRS SPEKTRUM+ utilizes new C-C sensor technology, which can be used to distinguish black glass or very dark glass from CSP (ceramic/stone/porcelain). Sesotec also presented the OBJECT-AI and NIR-AI evaluation methods, which both utilize artificial intelligence.
Other visitors at Sesotec's IFAT booth included international delegations and the Bavarian State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, Tobias Gotthardt. He was given a live demonstration of the equipment from Sesotec and KRS Recycling Systems for sorting plastic film and broken glass.
"The intensive technical discussions and positive feedback from trade fair visitors prove the importance and potential of our technological solutions for a functioning circular economy and a sustainable future," said Michael Perl, group director sales division sorting recycling at Sesotec.
