Sparta Manufacturing proudly unveiled its latest accelerated ballistic separator, the Olympus, at WasteExpo 2023.
The single-stream industry has struggled with choosing between throughput and low maintenance when sorting 2D and 3D materials. Sparta Manufacturing's Olympus is the company's answer to that challenge.
The ballistic separator is Sparta's commitment to excellence and sustainable recycling, the Olympus combines the features of ballistic and disc screen separators. Sparta Manufacturing says that the machine's design reduces high maintenance demands and resolves slow throughput issues.
Equipped with conveyor belts travelling at 600 feet per minute integrated into ballistic paddles. This allows the unit to quickly separate 2D materials and operate at a steeper angle, accelerating 3D fraction recovery.
WasteExpo 2023 provided the stage for Sparta Manufacturing to showcase the Olympus accelerated ballistic separator. At the event, Sparta offered a glimpse into the technology.
