BioHiTech Global provides a behind the scenes look at Entsorga West Virginia waste to fuel plant

Gold Medal Environmental, based out of New Jersey, in partnership with BioHitech Global, will divert more than 110,000 tons of the mixed solid waste Gold Medal collects annually from local landfills to the facility.

The collected waste is broken down and converted into an EPA-recognized Solid Recovered Fuel that is sold as a supplement or partial replacement to coal. 

As the video shows, the HEBioT process does not burn waste, or create any toxic or air quality issues. Together, BioHiTech and Gold Medal Environmental will achieve up to an 80% diversion rate and extend the life of existing landfills by as much as 500%. The impact from both an environmental and business perspective is incredibly meaningful.
