Process equipment manufacturer The Witte Co., has named Tyson Witte president. Promoted after 10 years of service in engineering and in other roles, Tyson represents the fourth generation of leadership for the family-owned manufacturer of vibrating fluid bed dryers, coolers, pellet classifiers, dewaterers and other vibrating processing equipment. In his new role, Tyson is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and overall business results for the company founded by his great-grandfather in 1938. Tyson plans to continue the company’s success as a trusted supplier for companies around the world while looking for ways to expand the current product line and finding new markets for the equipment.
Tyson Witte succeeds Richard Witte, now Chairman, who, as president, successfully guided the company for 30 years during a tenure marked by consistent, steady growth and a reputation for delivering the highest quality equipment on the market. “Working alongside my father for the past 10 years has been an invaluable experience that has provided me with the confidence and knowledge to lead the Witte Company into the future,” says Tyson Witte. “I'm grateful he brought the company to this strong position and humbled at the opportunity to follow his path and build on his work.”
Tyson Witte earned a B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and resides in Morristown, New Jersey.
