The Grease Vault is a new line of containers for collecting food grease. These steel containers, available in 100-, 200-, 300- and 360-gallon sizes, are designed for restaurants, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, hotels and other institutions that generate food grease.
“Continued growth in the bio-fuel market, along with more stringent regulations governing the collection and disposal of grease, will continue to drive the demand for grease and the need for secure grease containers to deter theft,” said Anne Brantley, Wastequip containers product manager.
The Wastequip Grease Vault is available with three locking lid options – a reinforced plastic lid with bolted-in grate, a plastic loading lid within a welded steel lid and a plastic lid with a bi-fold steel lid underneath.
These Grease Vault containers are designed to allow for two methods of emptying – vacuuming and dumping. Non-welded lids allow for vacuuming and a peg system enables automatic dumping, which Wastequip says makes these containers some of the most versatile on the market.
Other features include lid overhang to prevent contamination and spillage, and a tapered design for nestability. Options include bolt-in screens, heater coils and dollies with quick disconnect casters for easy servicing. Wastequip
