Compact front balers
Orwak recently launched their 3105 and 3110 frontal balers, the company’s most compact units. These new balers feature low height in combination with a small footprint, for placement in nearly any location. Units are flexible and are perfect for customers with small volumes of packaging waste. The Orwak 3105 and 3110 share the same features, but the 3105 generates more light-weight bales. Volume reduction is between 5:1 and 7:1, and the new models are equipped with a material selector for paper and plastic, which makes it easy to change the setting between high pressure and low pressure For best results when handling plastic foil, for example, which contains a lot of air, it should be compacted more slowly and with a lower press force than cardboard. When selecting “the plastic mode” on the Orwak 3110, the press force is reduced from four to three tons, and on the 3105, the press force stays the same, but the press cycle is slightly longer. Both models offer adjustable bale length in three different sizes for more flexible waste management, and bales can be easily handled with a bale trolley.
An autostart function is also standard on these units, a llowing users to start compacting material as soon as the operator closes the door. The Orwak 3105 and 3110 replace the standard model 3100 and they have a new appealing design with transparent covers for the strap reels and a practical pocket for the operating manual. On the panel, there is a full bale indicator, a service and maintenance indicator and two temperature indicators.
