TURNER HANDLES WINDROWS 10 FEET HIGH AND 26 FEET WIDE
The ALLU model AS 38H lays claim the title of the “world’s largest windrow turner.” Units are extremely quiet running, and are powered by a 450-horsepower Mercedes-Benz turbo diesel engine. The AS 38H is capable of turning windrows 10 feet high and 26 feet wide. Outside augers on the unit’s 7.2-foot diameter drum pull material in toward the centre of the drum, and cutting edges on the augers are replaceable, with a centre mixing section that lifts material up and over the drum, laying down a thoroughly-mixed and fl uffed-up windrow that is 12 inches taller than the original.
